Blue Tuesday final version

Blue Tuesday

We have finished this demonstration a year and some months late but… who cares? Now featuring Mac Os X version (as well as the win32 one), as well as a new scene and lots of improvements here and there. Grab Blue Tuesday final version!

If you just can’t see it, try the video version :) (Quicktime file, H264 compression, 400×300 pixels) – although nothing compares with the 1024×768 pixels size of the realtime version. Should you have a decent opengl card, go for the first one…

I hope you have a very great and blue tuesday :)

  • Congrats for the mac version! :) Runs quite well on my old powerbook :)

  • hey! thanks… which specifications does it have? processor… card… I’m curious about how does it perform on older macs :D

  • Runs perfect in a 1.5ghz (now old) g4 powerbook.

  • that’s not that old! I think madgoblin’s computer is 867 Mhz ibook and ran properly. Must confirm with him :)
In any case the most of the work is done by the graphics card, and it is the same that I had on my old laptop (ati radeon mobility 9000).
But thank you anyway for testing it :D

  • btw sole, there is a way to contact you? (msn, skype…something more "live" than email)

  • respects!
    ps: greets to farilight? ;P

  • yeeeeeh that’s because they mispelled xplsv in their intro… we noticed it (and our mispell) after the party so we decided to maintain that "little bug" ;)

  • btw guille… send me an e-mail and I’ll send you my IM address… i prefer not to put it here :D

  • I like what there is, but one-effect demos just don’t do it for me :-(
Anyway, glad you did release a final, even 2 years later :)

  • well… i suppose it goes on tastes… we tried to play with "one effect" as you call it and experiment its possibilities
and hey.. it’s not 2 years later, just a year and some months O:-)

  • Ok, call it "one-scene-with-a-changing-camera" :)
You know what I mean ;)
(and yes, of course, it’s just my taste… nothing wrong with the prod itself)
PS: you need a cookie to store the name/email/web thinggie :)

  • i don’t think it’s like that and if you look at the readme.txt you’ll find there are lots of things going on but i suppose that you have the right to think simplisticly about my prod… anyway, it’s up to you :P
i started the cookie thing but i had a little problem with another thing and never finished it.

  • oh, I was definitely not implying there was no "different effect code" involved, was talking more about the "aesthetical" part of it.
Not trying to bash down your code, not at all… I can appreciate that, absolutely :-)

  • much better for your own security…   (mmm makes me feel the need to add icons to my blog code XD)

  • no! icons are lame! let us draw our owns smileys with characters please ;P
I agree with the cookie btw.
