Book reviews

"Beautiful idiots and brilliant lunatics" (Rob Baker, 2015)

If you like reading about London and old stories, this will be a very enjoyable book. It's actually a compilation of posts from the blog Another Nickel In the Machine, edited, so if you have a look and like it, you should possibly get the book itself.

My favourite stories were the ones from areas near to where I live, obviously, but it's all really nicely researched and the multiple sub-stories are interwoven very gracefully and is an really easy read. The only aspect I quite didn't like is the resolution of the pictures which was quite low--you'd expect the book to have higher quality assets than the free posts in the website.
