"The Canterville Ghost" (Wilde, 1897)

I've read this one SO MANY TIMES in various languages (Spanish, English, I think maybe Catalan too). It's like comfort food, but for reading.

The book is super easy to read even if you're not a very fluent speaker, and the story is absurdly funny even if it feels a bit too moral at the end, but it might just be the book being slightly dated. And if that's the worst I can mention about a book which is almost two centuries old, maybe it hasn't dated THAT BADLY!
