Estamos haciendo una tormenta de ideas (también conocido popularmente por brainstorming) de cara a organizar una futura edición de ifparty, la if06. Para ello, necesitamos tener en cuenta a los asistentes.
He estado releyendo el post en escena.org acerca de la pasada edición, y creo que aún pueden surgir más ideas o sugerencias. Así que, si alguien quiere aportar algo, puede hacerlo (siempre constructivamente). No garantizamos que lo que propongáis se vaya a realizar, pero puede servirnos para nuestras discusiones internas y encender la chispa para otras ideas.

Por otro lado, estamos buscando colaboradores. Necesitamos gente, en otras palabras. No importa que no seas de Valencia. Puedes ayudar igualmente durante el transcurso de la party. La única recompensa que podemos garantizar es la satisfacción de hacer una party en familia y enriquecedora.

Well one year more this good news is here, new ifparty website! As in the past edition, the design has been kindly made by trace, which luckily gives this the appearance of a serious, adult party - that's something that we miss often in what is related to parties corporative images.
Given the theme of this year, he has tried to take an original approach - you can add your own/favourite art to the front page. I had not seen this kind of interactivity on other parties. Also, I had never seen this graphical style in any party (as far as I remember). Usually parties tend to appear very techie and technological, but this one is more like a museum, a place where demos are studied and watched by experts and casual people as well. Really weird!
But by the moment we are only on the entrance… let's wait for the main hall!!

well, ifparty04 finished almost two weeks ago and i feel like writing about it now!! haha! from my organizational view, it was like a chaos in some moments, sucked completely in other aspects and was really cool in some times. as an attendant, was great to win a prize :-)
our powerful demo killotrona got second place and this has empowered us to continue making cool scene prods. Also I liked the scene ambient in the whole party. no internet and just kindly feelings :-)

Everybody should be able to detect that something's going to occur by looking at my messenger state. Since around two or three weeks, I'm always not available. Some people get angry, like if it was with them (maybe they do think that when I connect to msn is for chatting JUST with them, mmmm yes, they are really wrong XD); I have received unpleasant messages like it seems like you're always not available when I do connect… all right … I'm not going to disturb you anymore… bye. Why do people act like that? Is like if you got offended if someone can't pick up the phone because he/she is having a shower or something like that. I think people should learn the irc philosophy and then, JUST THEN, we would allow them to use the messenger. That is, if I'm away, is because I'M NOT in front of the computer, so why do they try to get an answer of mine if I do not view the messages? oooh clumsy people ò_ó

Are these preceding words caused by the stress? A friend has told me it: You better start leaving responsabilities … well, maybe she is right, but this month and the next one are critical for the ifparty!!
This year we have put in it our best ideas to make it more successful than past one, so now we need every effort to get it into work :-D
Past friday we put online the new website, thanks to Recena for his great hosting service. And past sunday we put online the *almost deffinitive* version. It features three languages; I thought I was going to die while translating all the spanish text into english and catalonian, but it seems like that is worth the final result. Trace has made the design and the rest (php & co) is mine.
And this does not finish here! Today has appeared a very interesting scene-item: becanne. This is an spanish magazine about the scene. I have liked it a lot (and it is not because I do appear often in this issue), and if you speak spanish, I think it's worth the download :)

The presentation was succesful!
Everybody got impressed by the productions that we played in the bigscreen. The visuals we prepared (coded in less than a week) worked perfectly.
The Very Important People that attended the event declared themselves very interested in the party, so everything appears to be something great this year…!
