Let's say I have just come back from an event in Spain (ifparty05) and I am looking forward for the next one, although I feel really tired and sleepy. Human misteries…
Next stop will be offf, the so called online flash film festival, which is less flash-only with each new edition, I think.
Past year it was held at Valencia and I couldn't enjoy it as much as I wanted because of work issues (that is: a unreasonable planning with unfeasible deadlines under lots of pressure in the middle of an unstandable july's heat. It sucked completely). But this time I have full holidays those days and the event is going to be held in the CCCB (Contemporary Culture Centre of Barcelona) so this will rock for sure!
As I always say Barcelona is a very nice place and I'm always willing to go there. I don't know why, please don't ask me because I wouldn't know what to answer - instead I would start saying things I like from there and most probably will derive to the eternal fight between Valencia and Barcelona, in which I am in the BCN's side, for my valencian friends sorrow, but hey… it's my opinion!
Also the new place for the festival it's very appropiate, much more than the place for past years, and the best of all… trace, also known as mr.doob is going to have a speech there with his friend inknown (which for some strange reason has not a working website nowadays), and my dear group of ultranice friends, roterfleck will have some space in the festival as well, presenting the project with a short but full of content gig, with trace making some visuals as far as I know. I'm pretty sure this is going to be a very good opportunity for us and I hope to see you all there!! :-)

Whops! I couldn't write about this… Last 1/2 october there was the launch of the roterfleck collective netlabel project. These guys have a great experience doing live acts with dj+vj features and now have dared releasing their own music under a netlabel, called roterfleck too.
For this time, they released two EP's (AMB's and Neurokin's ones), and a compilation with music from different artists -in which one of my songs (destructive trends) does appear too-.
The public release of the project was a complete success. xplsv did the visuals and roterfleck staff did the musical part. First Neurokin with his girlfriend played live their EP (including real accordion parts and vocals singed by them!), then AMB showed us their blame vision and after that Mayte first and Neurokin then did their best at the turntables. A really nice event!

I had always wanted to participate in a netlabel so this is a long time wanted achievement. I'm so happy with that and I'm looking forward for more collaborations with them. Enjoy the music! (I think is not need to say that downloads are free)
