I was happily in my happy world, when mrdoob mentioned that someone had hacked the Kinect and thus won the $3000 that were offered for the first person who did it. And he added: isn't this the same guy that wrote the laser demo? Indeed, he's the same 20 year genius!

Whenever I see news like this, I'm immensely proud, and humbled, and euphoric. This is what hacking is about.
