Eavesdropping in the corridor

This afternoon I went to the water machine to get a cup of water... There was one worker from another office sitting in a chair near the window, having an animated phone call. I usually don't listen to other people's conversations, mainly because they talk quite quickly and I still can't follow superquick conversations properly -in english, I mean-. Or that I thought until today...

Casually the watercooler had just decided to go the slow way and it was just giving a ridiculous tiny amount of water, so filling the cup was taking more time than usual. Sun had just set, and it was raining again. It was dark outside, nothing special was happening while I waited for the water to pour inside my cup. Nothing, except the phone call...

Suddenly that guy said: If somebody asks you something... just act as if they had bird flu... leave them! leave them! Remember... you just act as if they had bird flu... don't even reply them...

I hardly could hide my laugh spasms... I almost created a water overflow because of the distraction that this unexpected eavesdropping offered me... oh... i don't know what was that guy talking about but it sounded very film-ish! it's been the best moment of the day...
